Reigning over the malefolk
Once upon a time, women willingly and humbly submitted to the whims of their men. They cooked their meals, bore their babies and happily helped take care of the home front while the men go to make a living for the family. Nowadays, slogans such as ''Women emancipation", "Women Rights", "Women liberation" and phrases such as, "Whatever a man can do, a woman can do even better" has been circulated by groups and individuals who see women as being enslaved and dominated by the men.

No matter how strong and powerful the male-folk may seem to be, the truth
remains that the women-folk have been naturally endowed with the power to greatly
influence them without raising dust and without compromising the dignity of
womanhood. Unfortunately, a very few women have realized and have been
utilizing this to their favor, while majority still languish in ignorance of
this endowment and how to exercise
such. Here is what it takes to reign over men:
Self-definition/Purposeful living
A woman who believes or wants to find out her
real power over the male folk should first know and be working towards
realizing her life’s purpose. Although she is not a loner, she is good to all,
but chooses her friends carefully with purpose and beauty of character as a
basic criterion. Everyone who knows and is working towards his or her life’s
purpose is usually self confident and exhumes intelligence. Intelligence is
also a virtue men respect. Get a life and men would respect you and when they
respect you, they will be at your service. Ask Dr.Mrs. Okonjo-Iweala. This is a
first step.
Self respect
As a gentleman who wants to gain the respect of
his friends does not engage them in fisticuffs, so should a woman who wants to wield
influence over men have bounds in terms of her behavior. The first (unwritten)
rule of respect is, “Respect yourself and you would be respected”.
Respect for men
Men are naturally egocentric. Learn to
communicate with them in a respectful manner and you will get them do whatever
you want, I mean anything! But take the other approach and you will be greatly
disappointed at the response.
Convince not boss
Ever wondered why the biblical Adam willingly ate the forbidden fruit against
God’s will without questioning Eve? I believe Eve did employ this approach (Convincing
not bossing). Men understand and react better when presented with the facts, a
woman who understands this will always come out tops with any man.
These are just a few but major attitudes required to reign over men without
“carrying placards”, others abound, discover them & cruise. One more thing,
don’t tell “Him” I told you these.
